SANTA CRUZ: Mountains to Sea

Stars and weather aligned for a couple discovery beach days… first morning started a beach perfect day in Capitola Village looking for the morning cup of coffee… found it at Mr. Toots and enjoyed it by the beach… continued on with a quick brunch stop at the Buttery on the way to quiet Seabright beach… a peaceful ending of a half beach day…

Next morning found the Corralitos Coffehouse… yummy start of day… on to more beach discoveries… and meeting friendly locals at Seacliff Beach that shared the story of the Aptos memorial wall… doing what locals do… walk to and touch the wall… and walk back to the Seacliff State Beach Vistor Center to learn about the SS Palo Alto and fossils… will be back for a History Walk!

Wonderful weather and bewildering beaches made the stroll longer and longer… past Rio del Mar Beach… to the more secluded Seascape Beach… until decided to resume the beach adventure by car… to La Selva BeachManresa State Beach… through strawberry fields to Sunset State Beach… so beautiful it needs another visit at the right time… after a late lunch / early dinner at Phil’s Fish Market in Moss Landing… sunset with full moon!

Last morning… before Easter… busy Gayle… with many wishes to return… for the beaches… and farmers markets… delicious Santa CruzWatsonvilleMoss Landing… to be continued 🙂
