Slow start in Cancale… beautiful promenade… soothing sea… lovely lunch at Le Bout du Quai… oysters… seafood… sweets… views… love at first sight & bite 🙂
Afternoon trip to Mont Saint-Michel… one hour drive back in Normandy… huge but very well organized parking… shuttle… low tide… super!
Wish we could stay overnight… a travel wish for next time… back to Le Village Cancalais… relaxing time… pool… sauna… hammam… documentaries… for the so inclined 🙂

Barfleur: Premier port du Royaume Anglo-Normand au Moyen-Âge, Barfleur reste un port à l’activité de plaisance et de pêche importante. Ses maisons de granit gris avancent sur la Manche, surveillée par le sémaphore et le phare de Gatteville.
